A Truck Carrying Kelly Gang Weapons Approximately 2 Miles Away From Fort Victoria

A supply truck filled with various firearms and manned by a few Kelly Gang grunts makes its way down a woodland road towards the outer regions of the Old Tokyo slums. Once there the game members will distribute their heavily demanded firearms to the working class citizens of Neo-Tokyo. Two men sit in the back of the truck with their cargo, each guard wielding a rifle. Another heavily armed guard sits in the passenger seat peering out of the opened window scanning the surrounding scenery for threats. Hidden in several trees farther up the trail is an albino beast with the traits of a rat and an ape alongside a mysterious psychic. The rat-ape peers through a pair of binoculars and spots the truck and its heavily armed escorts.

A synthetic voice echoes from its steel collar, "They are coming. Freeze the road." the rat-ape then nods at its comrade.

[THESHINIESTMEATBICYCLE]

"I'm telling ya Ishi, I think that Edward is the one who's gonna take over once George passes! I mean have you seen him?! He's built like an ox for god's sake!"
"You're wrong Alex, everyone knows that Joseph is gonna succeed George. Sure Edward is tough and I ain't never seen a man use that big piece of rebar and cinderblock he calls a weapon like he does but he ain't nowhere near as business savvy as Joseph.  Power is teaching him how to make guns, not Edward."
"Look all I'm saying is that in this world, might makes right and hell if Edward doesn't have the might."
"I guess you gotta point, but at this rate George and Power are gonna outlive us all.  I mean you heard what happened to Power? He went into a burning building several times just to save some corpses and got burned to hell. I swear he's gotta be powered by hatred alone."
"Yeah, yeah, I get it. But you still gotta wonder abo-"
"What the hell is that?" Says Alex noticing a strange rustling in the forest up ahead.
"I don't know, but I don't like it" Ishi bangs on the back of the truck to get the attention of Takei, and Suhendra. "Hey ready up, Alex just noticed something in the distance."
Takei and Suhendra give each other a glance before readying their rifles and aiming them forward at the forest.

[Cryatonic]

Octopus raises his hand towards the truck. Small snowflakes form in the air around his hand as the air chills. He turns his head towards the Rat-ape and asks, “Just for verification, why are we attacking these people? Have they done wrong?” He eyes the Rat-ape with worried eyes.

"We shall not harm these humans. Once immobilized I will simply take their weapons and then we shall leave. I need you to stop the truck to prevent them from crashing once he does his thing." the rat-ape motion towards an accompanying mutant covered in numerous toadstools. Snot leaks from its frog-like snout and it nods at Octopus. "Simply freeze the tires so that the truck ceases locomotion. Bogfeet will do the rest." the rat-ape chimes.

[Cryatonic]

Octopus nods and looks back towards the truck. His hair begins to stand on end and sway as the air grows cold. Ice then begins to form on the underside of the truck, freezing the axles for the wheels to turn, as well as freezing the engine, so it can no burn fuel to continue functioning.

As the Kelly Gang members watch for signs of danger in the forest, Ishi is the first to notice some frost on the truck. The truck then abruptly stops, with the ice destroying the axle and engine.
"Jesus Christ!" Alex yelled, "What the fuck caused that?!"
"Fuck if I know!" Ishi screamed "You two out there better get firing!" He yelled to Takei and Suhendra, while taking out his sidearm and fingering the switch to his side.
Takei and Suhendra begin firing of into the forest, targeting anything that moved with practiced efficiency.
Alex gets out of the now wrecked vehicle and begins eyeing the forest intensely, making sure that whoever is attacking doesn't get close.

The rat-ape lumbers toward the truck and starts grabbing armfuls of weaponry, completely unphased by the bullets embedding themselves in his hide. Eventually one of the shots from the skilfully crafted weapons pierces his hide and he starts bleeding out fiercely as a jet of blood and pus spurt form his side. He looks over to two other mutants and howls with his real voice: "NOW! DO IT NOW!" in a bestial growl. The froglike mutant hides behind a nearby tree and starts pulling redcap mushrooms off of his back. He fires the mushrooms at the armed men with great precision and skill aiming directly for their faces.

[Cryatonic]

Octopus, hoping to provide cover for the Rat-ape, claps his hands together. When he does this, the moisture in the air condensed into a thick fog around the truck. He then makes large icicles burst from the ground, providing barriers and obstacles the shooters must move around if they wish to hit any target. As a final added measure, he tries to freeze anyone’s rubber soles from their shoes onto the ground so they can no longer walk without leaving their shoes behind to walk on the freezing ground or break the frozen bonds.

Ishi watches as his comrades are incapacitated, through ice and the strange mushrooms, and yells.
"FUCK! FUCK!" Ishi pulls up the his radio and simply yells into it , contacting Fort Victoria.
"WE GOT MUTIE ATTACK ON CONVOY #306, WE'RE OVERRUN! EXECUTING DENIAL PROTOCOL!"
With that Ishi flicks the switch next to his seat, activating the C4 carried underneath the weapons, destroying the vehicle, himself and whoever was unlucky enough to be close enough.

[Cryatonic]

Octopus blocks his face from the light and heat of the explosion. Once the initial blast dissipates, he begins to waddle over to the wreck, “Mr. RA, are you alright?” He attempts to search for the Rat-ape through the smoke. He also checks the vitals of any body he finds that’s mostly intact.

The rat-ape's torso is blown off by the sheer force of the explosion. His lower half quivers for a moment before strands of sinew begin knitting together and a new torso is rapidly reconstructed in front of Octopus. Bogfeet gets out from behind his tree and sighs "He's not going to be happy that we lost the guns." A few moments later the rat-ape has regrown his head, albeit without the skin, and his arms are starting to sprout from their stumps. "CURSES, WE WERE THIS CLOSE!" Rat-ape howls from his real mouth. After a few moments of searching he finds and dons his electronic collar. "Next time we must incapacitate the driver first." his mechanical voice calmly chimes. "Octopus, Bogfeet, let's return to the camp. I have been away for too long." his collar buzzes.

[Cryatonic]

Octopus looks at Rat-ape puzzles. “You can talk without the collar? Why wear it when you are fully capable without it.” He looks down at his arms and legs dejectedly. “Why subject yourself to be what you are not?”

It was a slow day on the comms. Not much other than the normal reporting in had left Ned with a lot of free time on his hands. He was almost done with the house of cards he was building when he heard the comms practically blow up for a few seconds.
"WE GOT MUTIE ATTACK ON CONVOY #306, WE'RE OVERRUN! EXECUTING DENIAL PROTOCOL!"
With that Ned got into motion. He quickly made sure the message was recorded, wrote it down, and the he ran to George's command center near the foot of the mountain.
He burst in seeing that it was George and Power arguing over something
"I'm tellin ya Power, if we step up production we'll have to either recruit more men or move them off other duties, and right now we can't do that with Isozaki trying to clamp us down."
"And I'm tellin you George, that if we don't step up production, than we won't have the funds or firepower to keep the operation going in the first place, Isozaki be damned! You know I want revenge just as much as I do " Power was trying to move his arms, as if to lend more credence to what he was saying, but was hindered
"Look we'll come up with something later, right now we got a message" George said while pointing at Ned.
"What is it mate?" Power asked.
"Convoy #306 was attacked by mutants sir! I looked at their schedule and I think they're about 2-3 miles away." Ned explained "The driver also had to use the denial protocol."
George looked towards Power with a expression of anger.
"God damned muties!" George yelled, while flipping over papers on his desk. "I knew we should have cleared the forest last month!"
Power looked at George, trying to calm him a little.
"Look mate, I know this is bad, but instead of blame, lets get the truck, salvage what we can and get revenge on the dead muties that thought they could fuck with the Kelly Gang. Sounds good?"
Power, noticeably calmer, replied.
"You got a good point Power, lets fuck up some mutants and get our shit back." George looks at Ned and beckons to him. "You there! Ready up a posse and get my armor! We got some hunting to do!"

"I simply prefer the way this voice sounds. Much easier to pronounce m's given my lack of lips." his robotic voice states. Bogfeet gives out a few grunts as his mushrooms replenish on his back. "I'm sorry boss, I should've put the driver to sleep with my spores." Bogfeet whines in frustration. The rat-ape looks over the wreckage in a desperate attempt to salvage anything of value.

Rat-ape picks up the few functional rifles and bundles them with twine. "Get on my back," he commands Octopus and Bogfeet before crouching down low and leaping into the air with much force. As the three are launched into the air he begin positioning himself to land on his feet, all the while plotting their course back to the abandoned sewage processing plant that leads back into the sewers.

Before liftoff, Octopus uses his telekinesis to grab some of the broken guns as well as parts from the more destroyed guns and bundles them under his shirt. Yelling over the wind, he says, “I may be able to reconstruct some of these guns, if someone can show me how to put the pieces into the right shapes and places.” He looks back at the dead guards and remains of the truck. “We should have buried them before we left...”

Bogfeet looks to Octopus forlornly, "They brought that fate upon themselves. We were using non-lethal weapons. They used that bomb to try and deny us what we needed. While it is a shame they died, they literally chose to do so. They could have lived, but sadly they just had to spite us. Luckily the boss is tougher than he lets on." Bogfeet offers in an attempt to explain to Octopus what just occurred.

[Cryatonic]

Octopus nods, but he doesn’t seem to feel any better,; he just clings to Rat-ape’s back and make sure the parts stay secure in his shirt. His blood soaked face rags seem to have new blotches of blood soaked through them, and Octopus rubs one of his eyes. He plainly repeats, “The brought it upon themselves...”

"Hey new guy, if you're lucky the boss might just show you the lair." Bogfeet smirks. "If he does, that's how you know you're in. You see the boss has his own little place outside the sewers for working on his more important projects." Bogfeet whispers. The rat-ape lands with a loud thud before taking off again with another Olympian bound. "He only lets his lieutenants in the lair. I'm telling you, it's pretty wild." Bogfeet looks over across the landscape and gazes towards a run-down concrete building.

[THESHINIESTMEATBICYCLE]

Alex awoke, feeling a deep pain in his side. He looked up to the sky noticing how the sun had moved quite a bit in the sky and inferring that at least a few hours had passed. He started crawling towards the nearest tree. When he got to it he propped himself up against it, and noticed the piece of shrapnel in his side. He looked at the truck and saw the smoking shell that is was now.
"Dammit Ishi." He whispers to himself. "Just had to do it didn't ya"
Alex sits there for a few minutes, then hears another truck coming from the direction of the Fort,
"Hey! Hey! Right here!" Alex screams while waving, trying to get the attention of his gangmates.
George pulls up, and sees the carnage, with stray blocks of ice, scrap metal, and mushrooms.
"Oi! I want this place sweeped and cleared! Got it?" George gets some replies, enough to know the posse understands. He then walks up to man sitting against the tree.
"How you holdin up mate?" George inquires.
"Pretty good for having some shrapnel in me." Alex replies.
"Thats good, we'll get you some meds soon enough, but first describe the muties who thought they could fuck with us."
"Yeah, thats easy, one was some big rat-ape thing. Took more bullets than I could believe. Then there was this big froggy motherfucker. Got us with some spores. *cough* Then there was this octopus lookin freak who fuckin summoned ice and trapped us. Thing is, they ambushed us. Never really hear of muties waitin do ya?"
"Hmm, never heard of those blokes before. Most muties aren't organized. Looks like we got somethin big goin on."
George signals some men and have them pick up Alex.
He looks off into the distance. Thinking why muties want guns, how he's gonna track them, and how they'll look stuffed and mounted on his wall.

[ICK]

A young man with jet black hair sticking up on one side watches the scene with high-tech binoculars from a few miles away in the desert, with no civilization to be seen. Noting which direction the mutants were heading, he spits,"God I fucking hate the wastes; no nice buildings or cleanliness anywhere as far as the eye can see." He radio'd in through the phone on his belt," Target has been sighted, I'll input coordinates and direction now. What's the next plan of action?"
A dry voice from the phone replied," Just keep your distance for now, we can't let your discretion be compromised. We'll send backup if you want, just make sure to update us on their location as often as possible."
"I don't need backup, I'll be fine without your shit. Just let me do my job and stick to paying me." The man put the phone back on his belt and began to follow the mutants, keeping the distance between them so as not to be noticed.

As the rat-ape lands near an abandoned factory complex, he motions towards the other mutants to step off his back. "This is my den. I've been doing some tinkering here." the rat-ape explains cryptically. Bogfeet looks noticeably excited as he waits for the "Boss" to unlock the factory. As the large iron doors open creakily, the assembled mutants witness a large manufacturing plant equipped with crucibles, forges, and various molds. "Here we will make what we can from our salvage. Welcome comrades, to the crucible of the revolution!" the rat-ape exclaims proudly from his organic mouth. He steps into the facility, closing the doors behind them, leading his brethren to a table at the far end of this elaborate workshop.

Octopus looks around at the factory in wonder. Gazing at the equipment around him, he takes out the scrap he collected and places them on a nearby worktable. He scratches the back of his neck and asks, "So, this is where you conduct work, then? From what the man with the mushrooms said, it's an honour for me to be here. I'm glad you trust me enough to bring me here, despite knowing me for only a short time. Shall we get started right away?"

"Indeed, your skills will aid our cause. I myself am more... theoretical in my knowledge base. I am not an engineer but understand many of the concepts underlying the discipline." Rat-face echoes. Bogfeet begins locking the metal door to the factory with steel girders and then sits on the ground cross-legged. "Welcome to the place where all the magic happens. This is where he rebuilds his collar every now and again. Considering the shit he survives it's a wonder he doesn't come back here every other day." Bogfeet remarks. Rat-face eyes Bogfeet aloofly before quickly getting to work. He heads into a storage room and hauls out some moist clay. "I have a plan. While we have the raw scrap to make guns we need molds to pour the metal in. If we use this clay we can make molds out of the functional guns we captured from them. Then, assuming we did it right, we can replicate these firearms." Rat-face explains very precisely.

[Cryatonic]

Octopus nods, seemingly able to understand the plan, but he then says, “I’ll help any way I can.” He grabs some clay and it begins to mold itself into a cylinder. He then grabs a random piece of a gun and places it into the clay, and it once again molds itself, moving the piece inside. After a few moments, he splits the clay in half and makes a small tube leading from the top of the mold to the empty space the piece left behind. Looking back to Rat-face, he says, “Like this?”
